In the Spring a raccoon in your attic,chimney, or garage usually means babbies are there also. To encourage the raccoon family to relocate,place a radio turned to a talk station(music won't work) close to where the raccoons are the volume should be kept as high as tolerable. Leave the radio on 24 hours a day for as long as three days.
The female needs time to find another den for her family. Which she will probally do at night. Do not trap and relocate the adult as you will be leaving the babys behind.
Raccoons- are very unpredictable and can lash out with out being provoked adults are very strong use extreme caution and stay a safe distance from them and please do not assume they make a good pet they do not!!! It is against the law to have them unless you have a permit...
